This page provides you with the code for the Matlab-based design projects. 

NOTE:  Project Functions will not usually be made available until 2 weeks prior to the project due date.  I will announce any changes to this policy.

Project Functions:

Project #1 - for help type help [function_name] in the directory where the files are kept.

   m-files:

Project1.zip

   data files:

DesignProject1Data.zip

Project #2

    m-files:

Project2.zip   

  NOTE: The function q.m is included in the above .zip file.  It is the Q(x) function.  You don't necessarily need this function to complete the project, but you may find it useful in calculating theoretical error rates.

Project #3

    All of the m-files that you need are included in the .zip file Project3.zip

    Note that the following files are included but will not be called directly.  Simply put them in the current working directory or in your path somewhere.

    checkinp.m

Homework functions:

q.m  - this function simply calculates Q(x).
