Dr. Buehrer's research interests span a broad range of wireless communications and sensing problems including:

Interference Management

Ultra-Wideband

Position Location

Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) Systems

Other specific interests include:  Wireless Communications, Code Division Multiple Access, Spread-Spectrum, Cellular and Personal Communications, Multiuser Detection, Adaptive (Intelligent) Antennas,  Space-Time Coding, Simulation of Communications Systems, Radio Resource Control, Cross-Layer Optimization.
