Interference Cancellation and Avoidance
Multiuser communications systems are
inherently interference limited: as the number of users grows,
multiple access interference increases, severely hindering the
system's capacity. Therefore, there exists a need for efficient
algorithms that cancel, limit, avoid or reduce interference.
MPRG has conducted
extensive research in the field of interference cancellation over the
last several years. Recently we have initiated work in
interference avoidance and management. This page presents some
of this work. The work can be broadly divided into two areas.
